Available for Long Term/Short Term Teaching, Master Classes, Choreography, Substitute Teaching, Private Lessons, etc.

Kyle Mullins began teaching 10 years ago and has continued to do so throughout his professional career ever since. He has taught from Overland Park, KS to Cape Town, South Africa with a few stops in between. He has had experience with private lessons, group classes, master classes, choreography for youth, and dance outreach.

Kyle’s classes focus on finding the joy in dance and the love of creative self-expression. Individual voices are encouraged by experimenting on top of a solid technical foundation, and students are asked to explore technique as it relates to their individual anatomical boundaries in a fun and lighthearted environment.

Kyle has also had experience teaching dance as a form of creative movement in outreach programs. He currently works with 3 -5 year olds at New York City’s Hudson Guild, and he has traveled through the Global Arts Initiative (GAIN) to Cape Town, South Africa to partner with Ikapa Dance Theater and its local outreach program. Traveling to different townships’ community centers, he had the opportunity to bridge cultural, linguistic, and socio-economic differences by communicating with children 4 – 18 via the universal language of movement. He believes dance can be a powerful tool to promote creativity, leadership, cooperation, physical activity and will enrich the overall community through each individual student.
